About

Welcome to my personal website! I’m Daniel Henningsen, and I’m thrilled to have you here.

Throughout my academic journey, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of remarkable programs and experiences. As a participant in the NASA Space Grant internship, I gained valuable hands-on experience in the field, working on exciting projects that fueled my curiosity and passion for space exploration. Additionally, I completed a senior thesis, diving deep into the realm of optical and IR background light research. This endeavor allowed me to develop a critical eye for data analysis, as I discovered that even the tiniest levels of measured light can be heavily influenced by external sources.

Astronomy has always fascinated me, but what truly captivates my interest is the careful thought process required to understand and interpret the data. I believe that data holds immense potential beyond the numbers, and I strive to unravel its hidden stories. Through my work, I aim to explore the nuances and connections between data sets, enabling me to gain a deeper understanding of the universe.

On this website, I aim to share my past works and archive them for future reference. It’s also an opportunity for me to connect with potential future employers, showcasing my skills, achievements, and the unique perspectives I bring to the table. By providing access to my resume, papers/publications, and portfolio, I hope to create an immersive experience that highlights my expertise and showcases my dedication to the field.

As you navigate through my website, you’ll find a collection of my papers, publications, and projects that shed light on my journey. I invite you to explore the intricate web of data and analysis, and to connect with me should you have any questions or opportunities for collaboration. Your engagement is greatly valued, and I’m excited to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for understanding the universe through the lens of data.

Thank you for visiting my personal website. I hope you find inspiration, insight, and a sense of wonder here.
